What requirements are there to become a dealer?

The only requirement is that you have an automotive related business with a current business license.

What type of dealer programs are available?

With MBM there is no tiered dealer program. Pricing levels depend on part quantities ordered.

Is there a buy-in?

No buy-in is required to become a dealer!

How does MBM ship?

MBM ships FOB Asheville, N.C. and use carriers according to customer request or based on the best price available. We do our best to ship the least expensive way possible extending our carrier discounts to you.

What companies does MBM use to ship?

MBM uses UPS, FedEx, and a variety of trucking carriers. For UPS Quantum View shipment notification please provide your email address.

When can I expect to receive my order?

MBM strives to ship all orders in 3 business days (add time for disc brake kit orders). After the three day processing time it then depends on your location. For your convenience UPS ship times from MBM are listed below.

What should I do upon receipt of a MBM shipment?

Make certain you inspect all packages in the presence of the driver/carrier. If you receive a package that has been damaged or opened, make a claim with the driver/carrier at that time. All claims of loss, concealed damage, or other destruction must be made by you with the carrier. Save all boxes and packing materials, as the carrier may want to inspect it. We apologize for this inconvenience - but this is a UPS shipping policy. Any shortages not the fault of the carrier must be reported within 10 days of receiving the order. No exceptions apply.

What time frame do I have to report a shortage or a claim?

Any Shortages or Claims must be reported within 10 days. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice. No returns accepted after 30 days. No returns on special orders, electrical parts, installed or altered parts. A 20% restocking fee applies to correctly shipped items that are returned within 30 days. Restocking fee will be waived if return is accompanied by a new order with a value of $25.00 more than the returned order. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

I ordered the wrong part can I exchange it?

Yes, we offer our customers a free exchange for a period of 30 days from date of purchase only if parts have not been used. Parts that have been painted, marked, altered in any way (studs or rods being cut) or if any piece is missing (check valve or boots) parts will not be accepted for exchange. We will exchange parts for parts and all exchanges must be accompanied by an original invoice and tagged with a reason for the return.

Does MBM offer credit services?

Yes. With proper credit approval MBM offers NET 30 day credit accounts. Visit the Document Library to download the credit application.

Does MBM offer a part warranty?

All MBM products are guaranteed for the period of one year, to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee is void in the event of misuse, neglect, improper installation or misdiagnosis. At our discretion, we will repair or replace any product found to be defective subject to our inspection and approval.

What are MBM and MBM dealers liabilities?

Neither MBM, its dealers nor agents shall be liable, in any way, for any damage, loss, injury, or other claims, resulting from the use or misuse, or inability to use any of our products. Buyer or user assumes liability of any kind connected with the use or application of our products. MBM’s sole responsibility shall be to replace whatever parts prove defective at their option. After all, the user shall assume all risk and liability whatsoever in connection thereof. Modifications may be required with MBM products on specific applications. We will not accept returns that do not have a full explanation on the tag as to the problem with a particular product.
